I work with many other business owners in the area on a regular basis, and I often refer my clients to the ones that would be a good fit for what someone is looking for. Here are my favorite local businesses!
Hair and Makeup Stylist
You might wonder whether you should get hair and makeup styling done for a photo. My answer is pretty much always going to be, “YES.” That’s because the styling process will help you feel a lot more confident and relaxed for having your photos taken, and that counts for a lot!
I first met Liz back in 2015 when I was looking for a stylist for my wedding. Liz came to my house and did a trial run, and I was sold from that moment on! Since then, I have brought Liz on to many of my headshot and dating sessions whenever someone expresses a desire to look a little more polished than usual. All my clients love her, especially because she really listens and doesn’t go over the top.
Professional Photographers
My main areas of photography that I cover are headshots for corporate, lifestyle, personal branding, models, actors, and dating profiles. I also offer high school senior photography.
For the other major photography types, these are my favorite photographers who I personally know to have great quality work and excellent customer service.
There are moments in our lives that are transforming. Pregnancy, motherhood and embracing the beauty of you in this moment are times to capture in elegance. Chelsey Shaw is a portrait photographer bringing out your self in timeless classic elegant images that you will treasure for a lifetime.
Recruiters
Because I work with so many headshot clients, I also work with some recruiters. These are two of my favorite independent recruiters in the Seattle area.
Big Wave, led by Chris Englin, is the leading Seattle-area firm for sourcing and placing HR and talent-acquisition professionals at all levels. Chris Englin has always considered herself a creative problem solver. She’s translated those skills into a career as a key player in the Pacific Northwest HR world, with a background that includes decades of experience in human resources management and recruiting, starting with Seattle’s first big tech boom.
Gina Peckman has earned a reputation as a real-life superhero of executive recruitment. With more than a quarter-century of successfully fulfilling hiring engagements, Gina’s “spidey senses” are so keenly developed, she instinctively knows the intangibles that make a particular candidate not just qualified but exactly right. As the powerhouse founder of Peckman Search Partners—and Dynamo Recruiting before it—she’s demonstrated uncompromising integrity, along with a deeply personal commitment to her clients and candidates.
